Thermography
Thermographed printing is a method where the ink is heated to
create a raised effect on the paper. Photo and Traditional type styles
are two different methods of Thermographed raised printing.
An inked impression from a plate is made on to a rubber
blanketed cylinder, and then transferred on to the paper being
printed. The result is a raised Thermograph style print.
Your choices of Type styles can be seen for each individual catalog
under the sub-category Type styles. The Type style you choose must be
from the same catalog as your card choice. Not all catalogs have the
same type styles nor do all catalogs have a Traditional type style
choice.
Photo Type Styles
The advantage of Photo type style is you have many styles of
font to choose from, and the script can be enlarged or made smaller to
meet more needs because of a photo process. This is also the font you
will choose from if you wish to have a combination font or if you wish
your names or certain wording a smaller or larger font than other
wording. Photo type styles are also often referred to as Regular type
styles.
Your choices of Type styles can be seen on my web site for
each individual catalog under the sub-category Type styles. The Type
style you choose must be from the same catalog as your card choice.
Not all catalogs have the same type styles nor do all catalogs have a
Traditional type style choice.
Traditional Type Style
With Traditional type style, the choices are not as numerous
as Photo type styles, and the type can only be set in one size because
the type is pressed from a metal plate or die. The result is a raised
Thermograph style print. If the quote does not include Traditional
type style, then it is not offered for that invitation.
Your choices of Type styles can be seen on my web site for
each individual catalog under the sub-category Type styles. The Type
style you choose must be from the same catalog as your card choice.
Not all catalogs have the same type styles nor do all catalogs have a
Traditional type style choice.
Engraved Type Style
With Engraved type styles, the type is set in one size because
the paper is pressed from underneath using a metal plate or die and
then the ink is brushed against the raised paper to create a finished
raised print. If interested in Engraved, please ask.
Not all invitations or catalogs have Engraved invitations available.
Letterpress
With Letterpress, the type is set in one size because the ink
is pressed into the front of the invitation using a metal plate or
die. Not all invitations or catalogs have Letterpress invitations
available.

6 lines of print.
Reception Cards
The reception card is used to tell you guests where the
reception is going to be. This card is helpful if the reception is
going to be in a different location, time or different day than the
ceremony.
The Reception card is more helpful if you are inviting more
people to the ceremony than to the reception, or visa-versa. In the
event you are going to invite more people to the reception than to the
ceremony, it is advised that you use your main card as an
announcement/reception invitation and then use the reception card as a
ceremony card.
This card can also be used as an At Home or New address card,
or be used to convey any information you need to tell the guests
about. This card generally includes 5 lines.
